Last updated: 28/07/2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Eth-Farm platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Eth-Farm is a platform that connects farmers, warehouses, and financial institutions to facilitate agricultural financing and product storage. Our service includes, but is not limited to, digital product registration, loan requests, and market connections.

3. Registration Process

When registering to use our Service, you must provide accurate and complete information. The registration process must be completed in full. Failure to provide accurate and complete information may result in the inability to use our Service or the termination of your access to the Service.

4. Use of Technology

Our Service harnesses advanced technologies to effectively represent and manage agricultural products. By using our Service, you benefit from innovative solutions that enhance transparency and efficiency in agricultural financing. We are committed to continuously improving our technology to provide a secure and reliable experience for all users.

5. Loan Agreements and Disbursement

Any loans facilitated through our platform are agreements between you and the lending institution. Eth-Farm is not a party to these agreements and bears no responsibility for the terms or repayment of these loans. If a bank accepts a loan request, they are required to disburse the loan to the farmer faster ASAP. In the event of non-payment by the farmer, we will proceed with the next legal process as outlined in the loan agreement.

6. Product Registration and Responsibility

The warehouse Operator is responsible only for products that are properly registered and for which a receipt has been issued. The receipt issued to the farmer upon product registration serves as evidence of the product being stored in addition to the dashboard. This receipt is an important document and should be kept safely by the farmer. Warehouse operator bears no responsibility for products that have not been registered and for which no receipt has been issued.

7. Government Requirements and Farmer Responsibilities

Depositors (farmers) are required to follow the rules and regulations set forth by the government and MOTRI. This includes compliance with any requirements related to the storage and export of agricultural products.

Depositors acknowledge and agree to these obligations when using our Service. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in legal consequences as determined by applicable laws and regulations.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Eth-Farm and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Ethiopia and foreign countries.

9. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
